Express the area of a rectangle with length 7ab and width 2a as a monomial.

Area of a rectangle is length * width.

7ab * 2a is the same as 7(2) * a(a) * b

7 * 2 = 14
a * a = a²
b = b

Put it all together. 

14a²b is your monomial.
