-12x-24=-24-12x+4x

x is equal to zero. Distribute The -12 to x and 2. Then distribute the 6 to -4 and -2.

That gives you -12-24=-24-12x+4x

combining like terms gives you -12-24=24-8x

next you should get x by itself.  that gives you 0 as the final answer
