The possible function of this curve is
f(x) = (x^2) -2x -3
To get this, I simply focused on the zeros, which are x = -1 and x = 3, and made equations to represent them in factored form, like this:
(x+1) (x-3). Solving for x on both gives us back out zeros. However we will expand this and then get (x^2) + x - 3x -3.
(x^2) -2x -3.
To make sure even more, I used the axis of symmetry formula and got x = 1. Which is exactly where the vertex also lies.
