This was the home of the Minoans.
They engaged in trade. They did
business with different people from Egypt, Cyprus, Canaan and Levantine. During their time there was little conflict
that occurred in Crete. Eventually they
were driven out by the Mycenaeans. Other theories suggest that their end came
with a volcanic eruption.
