Hello from MrBillDoesMath!

Answer:

x = 3

Discussion:

( 23 + 3x)  + (8x-41) = 15        =>

23 - 41 + 3x + 8x = 15 =>

-18 + 11x = 15 =>

11x  = 15 + 18 = 33 =>

x = 33/11 = 3

Thank you,

MrB
