If you overshoot the endpoint in titration of the KHP, an error will happen in your calculations for the molarity of NaOH you are standardizing. For this, a neutralzation reaction happens where amount of acid should be equal to amount of base. Adding more of the base needed to reach the equivalence would mean you have higher volume which will make the calculated concentration of NaOH lesser.
