Add the x’s to get 2x+30= -2x+2, then add 2x to each side to get rid of the negative, and what ever you do to one side you have to do to the other, so then you will get 4x+30=2, then subtract 30 from each side to get 4x=-28, then divide each side by 4 to get rid of the 4 in front of the x to get an answer of
