My math homwork is asking me for the word form and the expanded form for 3.4 and 2.51,and i don't understand this. we just started it today and she my teacher gave us 3 pages of the math.
3.4: the word form would be three and four tenths the expanded form would be : 3.0 = 3 0.4 = .4 2.51: the word form would be two and fifty one hundredths the expanded form would be 2.00 + 0.50 + 0.01
