The Battle of Little Bighorn was fought between the United States led by Lieutenant Colonel George Custer and the Sioux and Cheyenne.

This account of the battle is not completely accurate because:

  • it did not mention that the Natives were only raiding lands because the U.S. government had renegaded on treaties it made with the Natives
  • it mentioned that 2,000 Natives gathered yet that number was closer to 10,000
  • it made it seem as though Custer was a hothead who wanted to fight yet he had only acted when he spotted the Natives in an attempt to limit casualties
  • it said that Custer did the attacking when in fact they were the ones attacked.

In conclusion, we can say that this account is not accurate because of the points listed above.
