Maleeka is on the middle rung of a ladder. She climbs up three rungs, down five rungs, up six rungs, and the climbs the last eight rungs to the top. How many rungs are on the ladder?

Though I am unsure if this is a suitable answer, but x+3-5+6+8=x+12
X is the middle rung.
