-6 < 3n + 1 < = 10
solve from the center out to both the left and the right. subtract 1
-7 < 3n <=9
divide by 3
-7/3 -7/3 = -2 1/3 so if we are to use INTEGERS ONLY that would have to be rounded to -2 because the inequality is saying x has to be GREATER than negative two and one third.
Checking: -6 < 3(-2) + 1 < = 10
-6 < -1 < = 10
