Well, look at it this way:

-- 6 x 3 cows = 18 cows.

-- 6 x 3 bottles= 18 bottles

-- 6 x 3 cellphones = 18 cellphones

-- 6 x 3 rocks= 18 rocks

-- 6 x $3 = $18

so

6 x 3π = 18π
