Molar mass of water = 18,01528 g/mol

n = 4.8g/32.04g/mol

n = 0.15 mol

n of water = 38g/18.01528

n = 2.11 mol

now mole fraction of methanol= mole of methanol/(mole of methanol + mole of water)

Mole fraction of methanol = 0.15mol/(0.15 mol + 2.11 mol)

Mole fraction of water = 0.066
