We know that:

MN = 7.3

DC = 8.7

M and N are midpoints of AD and BC respectively.

Since DC - MN = 8.7 - 7.3 = 1.4 and M and N are midpoints, we must have:

AB = 7.3 - 1.4 = 5.9
