Can someone please give me an example of a displacement reaction using an ionic equation ??

Sorry to say .. I have never heard of ionic equations.. I have only heard of ionic compounds..

Apart from that.. I can give you an example of a displacement reaction:

Zn+ H2SO4 ----> ZnSO4 + H2 

Here, Zn is displacing Hydrogen and replacing itself with the Sulphat ion.
