so first find teh slope intercept form y=mx+b
first find the slope=m

slope=(y1-y2)/(x1-x2)=(2-(-4))/(-2-(-5))=6/3=2

y=2x+b
solve for b

subsitute
2=2(-2)+b
2=-4+b
add 4
6=b

y=2x+6 is the equaiton
