An experimental variable is something a scientist changes during an experiment while a controlled variable is a feature that doesn't change and is kept constant.

Experimental variables are the part of an experiment that is going to change or is changing. A control variable is a part of an experiment that does not change you look back of the control variable to see what changed in the experimental variable. Hopefully this helps..
