What is the diffrence between 4x (4 to the power of x) and x4 (x to the power of 4)? evalutate both of these expressions when x=2

If we plug 2 in for x we get

4^2 or 4 x 4

And

2^4 or 2 x 2 x 2 x 2

4 x 4 is 16 and 2 x 2 x 2 x 2 is also 16

So when x=2 the difference between the 2 expressions is 0
