What is -121-4x=39+6x

So we're trying to solve for x. To do this we need to balance the equation.
-121 -4x = 39 + 6x
Get x on one side; add 4x to both sides.
-121 = 39 + 10x
Subtract 39 from both sides (remember when subtracting a negative to a negative, it's basically just adding with negative signs).
-160 = 10x
Divide both sides by 10.
x = -16.
