If the circumference of a circle is doubled, would the area be as well?

no the circumference does not effect the area if it is doubled figure out the circumference then plug into the formula given to you to find the area of the circumference also try doing ur own work ;)

NO.

Circumference=2[tex] \pi [/tex]r.

If the circumference is doubled radius has to be doubled.

But for Area, A=[tex] \pi [/tex][tex] r^{2} [/tex]. doubling radius means area will be quadrupled.
