First, we group together the terms with variables in one side by subtracting 3/2 x and 5 from both sides of the equation.
                   (2/3)x - (3/2)x + 5 - 5 = (3/2)x - (3/2)x - 5
                         (-5/6)x = -5
The value of x from the equation is 6.
