6 in = 6/12 = 0.5 ft
9 in = 9/12 = 0.75 ft

D = M/V  ⇒  M = DV

V = 0.5 * 0.5 * 0.75 = 0.1875 cubic foot
M = 41.7 * 0.1875 ≈ 7.8 pounds
