Ok I think it's A bc when you put the options C and D in standard form and replace the y with a 0 and then solve for x they both give you x = 5. So B,C,D all give you 5 and not -5

x-intercept: It means y = 0.

In other words, you need to find the equation that when y = 0, x = -5

Apparently A will be the correct answer, since x = -5 for all y
