The answer is D because when graphed, it does not cross the x axis.
You can find this by finding the axis of symmetry (-b/2a) and plugging in that x value to find the y value (vertex= (-1,2)). The y value is positive and the parabola opens up (positive a value) meaning it can never touch the x axis.
