No need for any guessing.

                      (1/5) times (the relay)  =  3/4 mile

Multiply each side by  5 :  The relay = (5) x (3/4)  =  15/4  =  3.75 miles .
3/4 x 5= 15/4 3 3/4 miles hope this helps
