Scientific research has an integral relationship to environmental resources. Resources that exist in the environment can help scientific research by making available the material that is necessary to conduct experiments. Water is an environmental resource and scientists can test the water in the environment in order to see if there are toxic levels of chemicals in the water. Without these resources, the science would not be as relevant.
