A simple random sample is SOMETIMES valid.
This is cuz it can be different in another sample like the random on. It can be different options or different opinions. When its different it can be valid OR invalid. It can always be a different thought from a different set of people/animals/books or whatever the case is. That is why your answer would be SOMETIMES.
