basically what u do to the top u do to the bottom so u did 9x8=72 u have to do 4x8 which is 32 so 32/72

The thing is to pass from 9 to 72, you have to do [tex]9*8=72[/tex]

Then, you must do the same thing to 4, so you have : [tex]4*8=32[/tex].


So the answer would be [tex] \frac{4}{9} = \frac{32}{72} [/tex]
