Huang He (yellow River) is the second largest river in Asia. The Yellow River passes through seven provinces: Qinghai, Gansu, Ningxia, Inner Mongolia, Shaanxi, Shanxi, and two provinces. The river is commonly divided into three stages. These are roughly the northeast of the Tibetan Plateau, the Ordos Loop, and the North China Plain.
