For arithmetic sequence

[tex]a_{n}=a_{1}+d(n-1) a_{1}=4, d=2 a_{n}= 4+2(n-1) a_{n}=4+2n-2=2+2n a_{n} = 2+2n[/tex]

Sometimes the answer could be asked in the form

a(n)=4+2(n-1),

Sometimes it could asked in simplified form
a(n)= 2n+2
