Why might a president prefer to issue an executive order instead of relying

Answer:

A president might prefer an executive order because it is a quicker process then congress having to send the bills to the proper committee; Then having a Debate, and Vote, for both Chambers of Congress; And ultimately the President potentially knows that it may not pass congress, so he uses a Temporary fix.
